Scottsdale nursery alive with seedlings

Scottsdale's nursery is fair to busting at the seams with native seedlings. There are trees, shrubs, ground cover plants and grasses. Some have been grown for the Upper Murrumbidgee Demonstration Reach Project next door to Scottsdale, while others for various plantings on the reserve. Scottsdale Reserve nursery plus seed update

Our regular nursery helper, Sue, offered these thoughts on the flowers at Scottsdale: Already spring has been busy at Scottsdale in the gardens and the nursery. Australian Defence Force Academy cadets digging in at Scottsdale Reserve

Today at Scottsdale 80 Australian Defence cadets planted a whopping fifteen hundred trees and plants as part of Bush Heritage's woodland restoration project part two, which is jointly funded with Greening Australia. As they say, pictures are better than words so here are some that I took today. These young people also trekked about 4 kilometres to and from the planting sites. Read more »
